Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Pantalla ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Pantalla is a screen time management application that allows users to:

• Create rules to block specific apps on their iOS device
• Set schedules for when app blocks are active
• Assign friends as "gatekeepers" who can approve access requests
• Request temporary access to blocked apps
• Track screen time usage

To use Pantalla, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

The gatekeeper feature allows you to assign friends to oversee your blocking rules. By using this feature:

• You consent to sharing your blocking rules with your designated gatekeepers
• You understand that gatekeepers can approve or deny your access requests at their discretion
• You acknowledge that we are not responsible for any gatekeeper's decisions or actions

Pantalla offers optional premium subscriptions:

• Free Tier: Limited to 3 rules with gatekeepers
• Premium: Unlimited gatekeeper rules

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment terms, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms of service. We do not process payments directly.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent or disable the blocking features
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Interfere with the App's operation or security
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App

Pantalla and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

The App integrates with Apple's Screen Time APIs and other third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

We do not guarantee that the app blocking features will be 100% effective. Users are responsible for their own screen time management.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting us.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
